Turning Conversations into Opportunities at Data Centre World

The result was an engaging exhibition presence that combined landmark project case studies, interactive content and a rugby-themed competition that drew visitors to the stand and helped generate a pipeline of new business opportunities.

Case Study

A1 Flue Systems – Data Centre World London

Client: A1 Flue Systems
Event: Data Centre World, Excel London
Agency: Sans Frontière

Sans Frontiere was commissioned to design, organise and deliver A1 Flue Systems’ presence at Data Centre World London, one of the UK’s most important exhibitions for mission-critical infrastructure and data centre engineering.

The brief was to create a stand that would raise brand visibility, communicate A1’s expertise and generate meaningful conversations with consultants, contractors and data centre operators.

Stand Design & Visual Impact

Sans Frontière developed a stand concept built around A1’s landmark engineering projects, demonstrating the company’s capabilities in complex flue and exhaust systems.

Large-format project panels showcased installations including:

• The Shard – Seven flue structures
• 20 Fenchurch Street – Future-proof boiler flue systems
• Battersea Power Station – Over 2.5km of twin wall stainless steel flues
• Twickenham Stadium – Stainless fan dilution system

Integrated QR codes allowed visitors to instantly access detailed project information and technical specifications, helping extend engagement beyond the stand.

The stand was constructed in partnership with Tecna, who delivered the installation professionally and efficiently.

Driving Engagement

To attract attention across the exhibition floor, Sans Frontière introduced a rugby-themed competition, giving visitors the chance to win tickets to the Autumn International rugby matches at Twickenham Stadium.

A1 branded rugby balls proved to be a simple but highly effective conversation starter, helping draw visitors to the stand and spreading awareness throughout the exhibition.

Client Feedback

John Hamnett, Managing Director of A1 Flue Systems, said:

“Yes, all in all the stand was very good. QR codes always work well and the guys from Tecna were very good too – I made a point of thanking them personally while they were dismantling the stand.

The rugby balls worked really well and definitely brought people to us. One consultant from Red Engineering said he didn’t even realise we were exhibiting until he saw someone with an A1 rugby ball and came over to say hello.

We have many leads to follow up over the coming weeks and hopefully we secure some successful business from it too. We’ve already had a request from AVK to be set up on their supply chain and they want to visit the factory – we’ve quoted them many times in the past without success.”

The Result

The event generated significant engagement and a number of strong leads, including new discussions with AVK, who have since requested a factory visit and are exploring adding A1 Flue Systems to their preferred supplier list.

Through a combination of stand design, storytelling and interactive engagement, Sans Frontière helped A1 Flue Systems maximise their presence at Data Centre World and strengthen their position within the mission-critical infrastructure sector.

Ferroli x Sansfrontiere A year of performance, culture and innovation

2026

2025 was a defining year for Ferroli in the UK. Working in close partnership, we delivered a broad programme spanning brand positioning, major product launches, digital transformation and reputation management – all designed to strengthen Ferroli’s market presence and set the pace for future growth.

Comfort of Champions – Six Nations 2025

We kicked off the year in style with Ferroli as a Partner Event sponsor of the 2025 Six Nations Rugby. Built around the campaign line “Comfort of Champions”, this activation created a powerful brand platform rooted in performance, reliability and confidence.

The campaign produced a strong suite of creative assets, rolled out across the social media channels we manage for Ferroli, delivering standout visibility and premium positioning.

Product Launch: Egea Heat Pump

2025 marked a major milestone with the launch of Ferroli’s first heat pump in the UK – Egea.

This introduction positioned Ferroli firmly within the low‑carbon heating landscape, showcasing advanced technology – particularly in the domestic hot water (DHW) heat pump space. Our work supported the launch with clear messaging, digital assets and communications designed to inform, engage and build confidence.

Commercial Digital Transformation

We delivered a new Commercial website designed for complex, large‑scale projects.

At its core is an advanced configuration tool, enabling users to generate highly detailed quotations for commercial boiler installations. The result is a powerful digital resource for engineers, consultants and commercial partners.

Cultural Brand Positioning: Arena di Verona

Beyond performance and product, Ferroli strengthened its cultural credentials through sponsorship of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival.

This prestigious partnership reinforced Ferroli’s Italian heritage and positioned the brand within a world‑class cultural setting, adding depth, sophistication and authenticity to the brand story.

Installer Engagement: Installermate Rewards

We evolved Ferroli’s Installermate programme with an enhanced online rewards offering for UK installers.

The updated programme introduced greater flexibility and choice, including:

  • Virtual pre‑paid Mastercard
  • Prezzee vouchers
  • Virgin Gift Cards
  • A wide range of Virgin Experiences

This refreshed approach strengthened engagement and loyalty by rewarding installers in meaningful, relevant ways.

Reputation & Review Management

Throughout the year, we continued to manage Ferroli’s online reputation, supporting customer service teams with clear, consistent communications.

This included active management of Trustpilot and Google Reviews, helping ensure customer feedback was handled transparently and reflected the true quality of Ferroli’s products and service.

Looking Ahead to 2026

With a strong year behind us, we are already planning an ambitious programme for 2026 – continuing to build momentum through innovation, brand development and digital performance.

Cola Stoves: Showroom Transformed!

ECO FRIENDLY ENERGY EFFICIENT PELLET STOVES

We were asked by Italian manufacturer Cola Stoves to launch the brand to the UK market, beginning with the design and production of graphics for their visitor showroom.

Our primary objective was to create a space that would be welcoming, stylish and visually impressive to accurately reflect the superior design and build quality of the stoves. We came up with the idea of creating room sets for the walls that would sit behind the working stoves installed in the showroom and give visitors a very real feeling of what it would be like to be in a room with that stove.

More recently we have launched Cola Stoves YouTube channel and worked with them to create three superb case study videos.

Video brings the product to life for the customer and is an easy way of explaining the benefits it offers. Our experience of producing videos, radio adverts and TV commercials means we can pre-script and storyboard your project before production begins and work with you to get your message across in the best possible way.

A combination of our stunning design and project management skills deliver a highly successful Expo.

Ferroli decided to step up its presence at PHEX Chelsea, the year’s most important trade event for plumbing & heating installers, and asked Sans Frontiere to design and manage the build of a new exhibition stand. A combination of our stunning design, project management skills and network of trusted suppliers delivered a highly successful event.

From the client’s brief on how they envisaged this exciting project, we developed the leopard branding that we had recently designed for Ferroli to create a visually stunning concept that would be impossible for visitors to miss; at the same time, the stand had to user-friendly for both potential customers to find out more about the boilers on display and for the staff manning it.

We then thoroughly researched potential companies for the manufacture, build and installation of the stand and put forward our recommendations to Ferroli. From our many years’ experience of commissioning high value exhibition stands, we were able to both explain why the lowest cost option would not be fit for purpose whilst knowing that it was not necessary to choose the most expensive. This knowledge is invaluable for a one-off event that involves such a financial commitment – it’s got to be right first time.

Very close liaison with the chosen stand build company every step of the way, right up to being there on the big day when the stand opened to visitors, ensured that the stand was delivered on time according to the brief and that the event was a great success.
